WhatsApp Business App
To use the WhatsApp Business API, you must create a WhatsApp Business App. This app acts as the central interface for integrating your phone numbers and managing WhatsApp services via the Meta API.
Steps to Set Up the App
1. Go to "My Apps"
Log in to your Meta Developer Account and click on "My Apps" in the top menu.
2. Create a New App
Select "Create App", choose the "Business" app type, and click "Next".
3. Enter App Details
Provide an app name and a contact email address for notifications.
4. Link Your Business Portfolio
- Add a business account: If one doesn't exist, create a new one via the provided link.
- Enter your business details (name, address, website, etc.).
- Verify the business account if Meta requires it (e.g., with documents or domain verification).
5. Finish App Creation
Complete the app creation process and note your App ID for future reference.

App Requirements
- Business Account: Must be linked to a verified business
- Contact Email: Used for important notifications from Meta
- App Name: Choose a descriptive name for your organization
