Creating a WhatsApp Account
A WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) is the top-level structure created in the Business Manager. Within this account, you can add multiple phone numbers, each used independently for messaging.
Steps
1. Navigate to Business Manager
Go to Business Settings > Accounts > WhatsApp Accounts.
2. Create WhatsApp Account
Click "Add". Enter a WhatsApp number already linked to WhatsApp Business. Provide the verification code sent to this number. This verifies and activates the account.

3. Add Payment Method
- Navigate to Business Settings > Payment Methods
- Add a valid payment method such as a credit card
- Link this payment method to your WhatsApp account
Your WhatsApp account is now ready for use.

Important Notes
- Existing WhatsApp Business Required: You need a WhatsApp Business number before creating the account

- Number Limit: Each account can have multiple phone numbers (limits apply)
